Best Hungarian food in London. The service is amazing, feels like family and the food is just like what a hungarian granny would cook. Love this place.
Interesting place for a meal. Polite staff. Sit at the back not by the windows. It's more atmospheric
The food is simply amazing. The best hungarian dishes by far. Highly recommended. Parking is a bit difficult though.
I visited to this restaurant with my brother. It was quite coz we came to the daytime. The food was amazing it really brings back the traditional Hungarian cuisine. The atmosphere was nice and chill. :))
Excellent quality food, massive portions. Restaurant feel is amazing and the staff meet your every need. Highly recommended. 🙂
Fabulous! Super authentic. Just like grandma used to make. Father and son duo; very nice.
Love this place! Each time I come back, the fare exceeds the high expectations that I formed after my previous visit. The food is wholesome and utterly satisfying. I savour every bite of my favourite galuska & lecsó combo. I love the friendly atmosphere. It's a family-run operation and clearly is a very much-loved place. As a Brit who spent over 2 years living in Hungary, it feels like a warm, nostalgia-relieving hug every time I visit. This pretty culinary oasis is well worth every out-of-the-way journey to get there. I always look forward to returning.
This is hands down my favourite restaurant in the area. Delicious food, excellent wine list, beautiful decor, and the proprietor is a gentleman of the first order. How do I give 6 stars?
Awesome selection of authentic (real home made quality) Hungarian food; nice extra side options and special drinks as well. Tasty, flavourful, good portions. Helpful, kind, friendly staff. Really nice warm romantic atmosphere (flowers, fish tank, nice lighting). Well worth the trip! Quality is much better than the expensive Gay Hussar was in Soho. We had pea soup, mushroom stew, pickled gherkins and pancakes; everything was so excellent we took away 3 more full meals. Update: Takeaway Chicken stew and lecsó was really tasty even after a day of fridge and microwave (sorry chef). Glad I could have some more nice food at work too after the weekend. Update 2: since then we've visited more times always with the same experience; can't leave without a takeaway 🙂
Ambient is very nice. Food is good. Not my favorite but it is tasteful. We always have the same waitrose. He is helpful and tries to make as laugh.
